I appear to have lost 26 years of my life

I haven't got amnesia but I do appear to have woken up in 1984.

First we had a recession, saw the third party do really well in the polls but not in the actual election, massive cuts are now being carried out but most importantly Karate Kid and the A-Team are being released in the cinema and although it wasn't until 1990 Robbie Williams have rejoined Take That!

I feel like I need to get in the Delorean with Marty McFly and visit doc Brown (1985)...
