Wolverhampton South West Liberal Democrats buy a goat and pay for a teacher to be trained with Oxfam

8.00.00am GMT Sat 5th Feb 2005

Last night saw Wolverhampton South West Liberal Democrats, for whom I am the Prospective Parliamentary Candidate, held a 'Focus On A Goat' social event hosted by branch chairman Robin Lawrence. The event, as well as being a social event for the Liberal Democrats also was partly a fund-raiser for Oxfam. Enough was raised to buy a goat and to have a teacher trained.

Wolverhampton South West Branch Chair, Robin Lawrence, said "We had a super evening eating drinking and playing the namesakes game." Colin Ross went on to say "Wolverhampton's Liberal Democrats are only too pleased to have bought a goat and paid for a teacher to be trained as part of Oxfam's Unwrapped project."
