What is the benefit of benefits??

It looks as though the Government is planning to abolish Incapacity Benefit and Income Support in order to streamline the benefits system. I have long thought that the Benefits (and Tax) system was overly complicated and often penalised those it was designed to help at one end and gave disincentives to work at the other end.

Radovan Karadzic arrested

Bosnian Serb war criminal Radovan Karadzic has been arrested. He was arrested on Monday near Belgrade after more than a decade on the run.

Odd goings on in Watford

Ian Oakley, the Conservative Candidate for Watford in the General Election has resigned after he was arrested over claims of harassment. The harassment was aimed at local Liberal Democrats and in particular Sal Brinton our candidate for the General Election.
